I'm really picky when it comes to what I watch, listen to and so on. (Except for food.) So I'm not sure. But if I ever get the chance I'll try to rent them.

i always hear good stuff about em so yea =]
Just finished watching Evil Dead. I still like Army of Darkness better.
Im really picky with animes and movies i find, simply because im tired of seeing the same cliched material over and over (which you find a lot of in both).
Currently, i dont watch anime much at all (save for the mildly amusing Tenjo tengi), but i really would like to get into something original and exciting.

Seen The Evil Dead series yet, Cat? I highly recommend it.
I just got done watching Full Metal Jacket, there is some funny stuff and some insane stuff (as in people being shot), but it is a good movie none-the-less.
IRT Cata: i really would like to get into something original and exciting.
You're looking for Maburaho. Ok, it's not original (it follows every shounen clich?), but it's really good in everything it does, so as long as you're into the genre, you'll love it. Chobits is awesome as well, and it has a deep, interesting, great story in the end, makes you think on a few things. As a side effect, you may get obsessed with Chii's cuteness.
Talking to an old friend and wishing I had my drivers lisence.
Don't worry Wiseman, i'll force him some stereotypical anime into him.
Shoujo Kakumei Utena's original and exciting.
IRT Wiseman - I watched 3 episodes of Mabuharo a while back, and enjoyed it on the comedy slant, but i really wanted an original story, and not a comic reinterpretation of Ai Yori Aoshi.
As for Chobits, i watched one episode, and thats it, so ive only really gotten to grips with the premise. I'll persevere with it if the ending is good, though. Is it?
IRT N - I'll give the Evil Dead a shot if i see it on Amazon cheap, and having watched and enjoyed two Stanley Kubrick films already (A Clockwork Orange and Sparticus), i'll probably enjoy Full Metal Jacket too. So *adds more films to "must-watch" list*.
IRT OCB - Im not going to watch anime just because its anime, like you. Im only into them because they broaden my horizons, and are often quite original, entertaining and mature.
Speaking of original, ive just recently seen Kill Bill Volume 2, which was fantastic. It pretty much cuts out the gory content present in the original completely, and replaces it with story progression and characterisation. Much better than the first, and longer too.
